Namaste!
As the saying goes, “Well begun is half done.” While I may not have anything to complete at the moment, I am a firm believer in the importance of starting off on the right foot.
I often catch myself complaining and venting about my inability to improve my communication skills and start learning Golang
. However, I’ve had this idea for a while now that if I start writing, reading more frequently and invest some more time to study golang
, I can overcome these challenges. Despite having no real reason to delay, I’ve allowed my laziness to get in the way. It’s time to take action and commit to this plan, as it could be the solution I’ve been searching for.
learning a new language is no small feat, and I know that it will require dedication, hard work, and consistency. That’s why I’ve decided to hold myself accountable by making a promise to post an update every week on my progress. So today, I’m making a public commitment to myself and to all of you: I’m going to learn Golang
and document my journey here.
So, what exactly is Golang
? For those of you who may not be familiar, Golang
(or Go) is an open-source programming language developed by Google. It’s a compiled language, which means that it’s converted into machine code for execution, resulting in faster execution times than interpreted languages. It’s known for its simplicity, efficiency, and concurrency features, making it a popular choice for building web servers, networking tools, and other distributed systems
As I embark on this journey, I’ll be starting with the basics, including setting up my development environment, learning the syntax and language constructs, and building some simple projects. I plan to use a variety of resources, including online courses, documentation, and tutorials, to ensure that I have a well-rounded understanding of the language.
In conclusion, I’m excited to take on this challenge and to share my progress with all of you. I know that there will be ups and downs along the way, but I’m committed to staying the course and seeing this through. Join me on this journey of learning Golang
, and let’s see where it takes us!
